Issue Seven: A Note from the Editors

Hello, wanderers!

We’ve been chatting to a lot of you on Twitter this week (here’s a roundup of what we were chatting about) but somehow we’ve managed to keep our secrets about this issue… Now all can be revealed!

Let’s get the slightly unpleasant stuff out of the way first; in response to recent events we have decided to take a quick peek at some of the bad things about fandom and what we can do to try to keep it to a minimum. Please do have a read, share it, whatever, because the more we talk about what’s unacceptable the more people will realise we, as fans, are not going to accept it in our communities.

We’ve also got part three of our series, Being Fandom, which looks at fandom manners, and as usual we’ve got some tips for you – this time they’re to do with research. Let us know what you think!

Our reviews for this issue are of Arrested Development, by a new reviewer, so please do go and show that some love, and of course our GUST review, which this issue is Tron. Check those out if you’re looking for something to watch…

Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got an interview here for you to read with none other than Cesare Taurasi of Young Dracula fame. We had a lovely chat with him, and he’s dead interesting, so please do have a read of that. It’ll make you smile!

Our next issue, dear Wanderers, will be on the 29th of September, but as usual we’d love to hear from you before then – our ‘About‘ page has all our contact details, including our Twitter. We also have a shiny new Facebook page, which could do with some love. There have never been so many ways to keep in touch with us, so please do – we do enjoy hearing from you!
